Large Tote Bag

This large tote is made with foam interfacing so it's self supporting. We made this one extra large so it holds a LOT and has strong canvas webbing handles. It folds or squashes pretty flat but then springs back into shape so you can stand it on the self-check-out platform and load it easily, without it flopping over. The handles are double stitches so they're very strong! I made one for myself as a test, to make sure, and I've loaded it with canned goods, juice, frozen stuff, literally stuffed it, and said 'oof!' when I picked it up... and no handle issues whatsoever. I have been using the test one for 3 months for a lot of heavy lifting and it's still my favourite tote. Our Northern Peaks Bears tote is made the same way, just in a slightly smaller, more compact format.
