From Firefly Studios
Everything that isn't a cozy, is here! We love to sew, we love to create, and when we make other things, they'll be here, but it's still us! You'll see some of the same fabrics used on this side, and some new ones, but please note, that NOTHING in the Firefly Studios collection meant for the microwave! Some items have a fusible fleece, some have a thermal fleece with a foil shield, so better safe than sorry! They are ALL machine washable, though!
Everything on this side ships for free in Canada, unless clearly noted otherwise.
We also have some supplies for YOU to create, on this side.. some fat quarters in art fabrics, yardage, etc. Sometimes we purchase materials and don't end up using them, so those things will be here on this side as well.

No More Handling Hot Bowls!
Our goal is to keep vulnerable hands safe, while having fun with design and colour. Brighten your space and be comfortable, too.
We are Canadian, and we Care
Based in Nova Scotia, we make all of our items by hand, right here. We source our materials locally as much as possible, or elsewhere in Canada, with very few exceptions. We recycle, or donate, all waste textiles and use compostable or recyclable mailers, hang tags and packaging.

As someone who meal preps all their meals in advance, I am constantly heating my food in the microwave and then trying to remove hot containers out of it. Quite often having to grab a hand towel to pick up my meals. Now with this simple solution I am able to safely heat my food and carry it out of the microwave.

As a TV watching dinner eater, I appreciate my bowl cozy as it saves me having a hot bowl sliding around on a plate or, worse yet, me. Much easier to cradle this way.

I find it especially nice for my toddler so I can give him the bowl without with heated up leftovers without worrying about him burning his fingers. Normally I'm juggling the bowl trying not to scold my fingers, and pushing his hands away when he's trying to grab it
